Rain rain, go away, come again after everything is under roof!

The rain has slowed us down terribly! We would have already had a roof and started electrical if it hadn't rained so much in the past month. There was not much to do but wait until it could dry up enough to pour footer. After several weeks of frustration, we finally got the footer poured and concrete blocks set.



The framing crew started Tuesday and in two days they have already accomplished a lot! Anthony was originally going to frame the house himself, but with him being really busy with home inspections and repair jobs, he didn't have time to tackle this also. Therefore, we hired framers to get it done and we are very happy with that decision!


I'm starting to get more excited now that I can see how it will all come together! If the weather will cooperate, the framing and new roof should be complete in a couple weeks.
