I have a lot to catch up on because I haven't blogged in a while!
Before Christmas Tyler, my mom, my dad, and Anthony got sick with the stomach bug that is going around. It was the first time Tyler has gotten sick so it was a little scary. One of the times he got sick is when Valerie and Josh were keeping him! I felt so bad they had to deal with all the mess of cleaning him up, but at least Naomi Kate was asleep and didn't have to be scarred from seeing it! Also on Christmas night, my sister got sick. I'm still praying that I don't get it!
We went to Kentucky for Christmas the Wednesday before Christmas. We wished we could have stayed longer, but it is so hard to travel with a 7 month old!
Our first Christmas with Tyler was very memorable and it does make holidays more special when there is a baby :)
Now onto our house:
As I'm typing this, our crawl space is being insulated and the brick layer just left. Drywall is complete, we are starting to paint, and the addition is now heated. We are on schedule to finish in approximately 30 days!!!!
This a picture from our existing den looking into new den.
This is our new bedroom.
Now a reflection of 2009, looking forward to 2010:
This was one of the best years of our lives because of the birth of our son Tyler. He has brought so much joy into our lives and has been such a blessing. He will be 8 months Jan. 12 and a few things he has recently been doing is crawling, starting pull up, babbling, and has also had 8 teeth to pop through! He already has his favorite toys, books, and shows. He loves Thomas the Train and Bob the Builder. Is that really a shock to anyone?!
I can also proudly say I am driving a paid off car as of this month! Woo Hoo!!!! It feels good to have no car payments! Regardless of what Jenny says, I still have a slight desire to drive a mini van........Anyone with me?
Check back in a few days about my new years resolutions!

Just say "NO" to minivans!!!
