Catching Up!

I am so behind on blogging that I decided to do a little catching up with what's been going on the past month or so!
Tyler just had his 15 month checkup and is a healthy, happy boy weighing 27lbs and 33 inches long! He has really been talking a lot these past couple weeks saying "go" all the time while he brings us his shoes. He loves to get out of the house!
Today was his first day of Mothers Day Out and it was different from last year when he was in the nursery. This time he's in the toddler room with so many fun toys to keep him busy. I walked in the room this morning, put him down, and he ran straight to the toys and other kids and didn't look back! Makes it so much easier for me knowing he is happy!
I'm typing this while I have a few minutes before I go to the track and run/walk. I was so pumped about running starting a couple months ago, but the heat has got the best of me. And my running group moved the Saturday meeting time up an hour and I am NOT a morning person! So, I've been waiting until later when it is 85 degrees instead of 95 degrees to run. Seriously, I am so over this heat. I long for the days of 75 degrees! Ahhhh....can't wait!!

I got a new, or at least new to me, 2007 Acura MDX! I love it! And to prove Jenny wrong, I will need to keep it 6 years! Ha! I know I have a habit of trading cars, but I told her this time I would drive it until it had over 200,000 miles! We'll see ;)

In the past couple months, Anthony has had 3 nieces and nephews to get married! Congratulations Daniel and Sayard, Wesley and Haley, and Laura and Daniel! We love you all!

Anthony and I have both been so busy at work, but luckily I'm still able to take off on Wednesdays to spend time with Tyler. We are so blessed to be in the situation we are in with my mom keeping him two days a week and Anthony and I both being flexible where we can take off when we need to. I can say though, while I enjoy being off on Wednesdays, I also like to get out of the house and work! I love spending time with my baby but it takes a lot of patience to be a stay at home mom!! I have been bringing Tyler to work with me more often and have a play area for him so I can have the best of both worlds!

Here are a few cute pictures to leave you with!

  1. Who cares how long you keep the truck? I'm just giving you a hard time. You need a nice, safe car to carry your baby around in! LOVE the pictures, but love you more!
