Summer Fun

I haven't posted in a while and thought I'd give a few updates. Tyler is doing great. He is really starting to smile quite a bit and recognizing people and seeming to stare for a while to memorize their faces. He is getting cuter everyday!!

He will be 7 weeks tomorrow and for the past week to two weeks, he has been sleeping through the night for 7.5-8 hours!! Last night he woke up once at 4:45am after sleeping 6.5 hours and then went back to sleep for another 3 hours!! He has also been sleeping in his own room and crib for the past few nights. I never expected him to be sleeping so well this early, but it has been great for us.

This past weekend we went over my parents house along with Josh, Valerie, and Naomi Kate. Josh has been fishing with my dad every Monday, so he came over to help him clean the boat out. You can see in the pictures below Granddad is just dreaming of the day when he can take Tyler out and help him catch his first large mouth bass!


Naomi Kate is such a sweet girl and was sitting so nicely because Valerie had a lightning bug in her hand she told her she'd give to her if she let me take a picture! We had fun that night playing with toys and blowing bubbles!
