4th of July Weekend

We spent 4th of July this year in Kentucky with friends and family. Bruce and Linda had everyone over to eat, play games, and shoot off fireworks. We had to leave before the fireworks because Tyler was getting fussy and tired. He fell alseep within a minute or two of leaving and slept until we got home. The above pictures are Mema, cousin Daniel, and Aunt Sandi.



Here Boyd was letting Tyler take a seat on his new Harley! Boyd has served our country for many years and has just gotten back from Iraq recently. We're glad to have him home and safe and thankful for his service to our country!



This was Tyler before leaving for church this morning. After church we went out to eat, came back home and cleaned on the house a little and then went back to church tonight for a Patriotic Picnic they had for all the kids. The kids were encouraged to decorate a bicycle or wagon for the parade. Maggie and I decided to take Tyler and Georgia in a wagon so we got one decorated, and I have to say that I think they were the cutest ones there and they were certainly the youngest participants! They both did so good and we had so much fun! Naomi Kate decided to ride with them and she did a good job keeping them occupied too!
